Congratulations to Narciso Gomes for winning the IMU-Simons African Fellowship for the research stay at our Analysis & PDE Centre of Ghent University, from July 15, 2022 – September 30, 2022.

Narciso Gomes is from the University of Cabo Verde in Africa. He is based at the Campus Universitário Palmarejo Grande – Novo Campus Praia, Santiago Island.

The IMU – Simons African Fellowship Program supports research sabbaticals for mathematicians from African developing countries employed in Africa to travel to an internationally renown mathematical centre of excellence (worldwide) for collaborative research.
